MISSION STATEMENT

The Office for Divine Worship, charged by and working with the Archbishop, implements the vision of the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy. 

The Office assists the people of the Archdiocese of Chicago by developing and deepening the liturgical life of the parishes and institutions of the Archdiocese through support, education and formation of the liturgical ministers and other pastoral leaders, and through participation in national and international efforts.

Nuestra Misión

La Oficina para el Culto Divino tiene la misión y responsabilidad de asistir al Arzobispo en la implementación de las normas de la Constitución de la Sagrada Liturgia del Vaticano II.

Asimismo, la oficina asiste a todos los miembros de la Arquidiócesis de Chicago en profundizar y desarrollar la vida liturgica en las parroquias e instituciones de la Arquidiócesis.  Este apoyo se ofrece mediante la educación, formación y preparación litúrgica de los ministros y líderes pastorales y a través de la participación en los programas, eventos, talleres y conferencias que la oficina ofrece para todos.
