Services Offered by ODW
Members of ODW staff are available for consultation on various aspects of liturgy in parishes or institutions. The Office for Divine Worship has developed a process for assisting parishes in evaluating their parish liturgy, particularly the celebration of the Sunday Eucharist. The process has three major components: an opportunity for staff and parish leadership to discuss their issues and concerns regarding the liturgy in their parish; a weekend of observation of the liturgy; and a follow-up gathering to set goals and priorities for improving the quality of prayer and worship in the parish. A team of two people will work with each parish and the process can be designed so as to respond to the unique needs of each parish community. For further information call D. The Instituto Hispano de Liturgia (IHL) of ODW offers a two year liturgy formation certificate program in Spanish for ministers in parishes serving the Hispanic community. The ODW Parish Liturgy Program (formerly know as Liturgy Institute of Chicago) is a two year certificate program offered by ODW. Mae Dore Scholarship The Mae Dore Scholarship to the ODW Parish Liturgy Program (formerly known as Liturgy Institute of Chicago) will be awarded to a woman who is accepted to the ODW Parish Liturgy Program, intends to continue working in the area of liturgy, and has personal and parish financial need. ODW-sponsored events that are individually designed with you so that the location, date, and format meet the needs of your parish, deanery, conference, or local musicians' group.
